Aqua Blue Inn
Myrtle Beach, SC
Located on Ocean Boulevard, the owner requested an infusion of quirky and eccentric finishes and furniture. Once a parking garage, existing concrete pillars gave us a bit of a challenge in layout and finishes. The color palette is an unpredictable and daring placement of color and bold graphics. Inspired by the whimsical black and white “doodle” style graphic on the elevator wall, coloring books were made and are provided for guest children when checking in. An unexpected photo booth mimicking a 1960’s TV that guest stand behind, has proven to be a big hit among guest. A metal wall feature, displaying dozens of used paint cans, funky window planters, bold peeling paint ceiling graphics, seat belt chairs (as seen in The Huger Games), and modern curvy seating are just a few of the fun finishes you’ll find in this one of a kind Myrtle beach Hotel lobby.
